Swimming Pool 2019 Information/Rules

The Deerfield Swimming Pool 2019 season opened on May 23 and the pool will be open daily through at least September 15.

The pool hours are 6 am to 8 pm Tuesday-Sunday, and noon to 8 pm on Mondays.

It will open at 11 am on Monday, May 27, for the POA-sponsored Memorial Day Party. The POA will also sponsor a 4th of July Party at the pool.

You must have a 2019 DPOA wristband to enter the pool gate, and wristbands must be worn at all times while in the pool area.

Wristbands are available to DPOA members who have a $0 balance on the POA accounts and can be obtained at the pool from Friday, May 24 through Monday, May 27. Starting on Wednesday, May 29, the wristbands will be available at the Deerfield Golf Club Pro Shop.

The Pool is managed by the Deerfield POA in conjunction with the Deerfield Golf Club.Management and owners are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or valuables.In Case of Emergency, call 911.

WARNING: NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY All persons visit the pool and swim at their own risk.

DPOA Pool Bracelets must be visible on arm or ankle upon entering the gate and worn at all times. Access WILL BE denied to anyone not wearing visible wrist bands. Replacement bracelets are $10 per bracelet.

The pool is for use by DPOA members and guests and DGC members and guests. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult. These rules are posted around the pool area. Please follow them.NO LIFEGUARDS are on duty and the pool is SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

In case of emergency call 911.Food, beverages and coolers may be brought onto the pool deck but not into the pool, and no glass containers are allowed inside the gate.Proper swim attire is required. Cutoff jeans are not swim attire.Swim diapers are required for children under 3 years of age.The premises are under security surveillance.

THE FOLLOWING ARE PROHIBITED

Glass containers of any kind.Obscene or vulgar language or actions. This is a family pool.Smoking inside the gate. This includes cigarettes, pipes of any kind, e-cigarettes, and vaping.Bikes, skateboards, hover boards, skates, etc.Swimming under the influence of drugs or alcohol.Running, fighting, horseplay or roughhousing.Illegal drugs.Pets or animals of any kind.Loud music that is a nuisance to others. When leaving, please dispose of trash in the proper containers, return pool furniture to where you found it, let down umbrellas, and make sure the gate closes.
